As
part of the United Veterans Beacon House program in South
Dakota we have acquired a Massey Ferguson 1080 tractor.
We need to get the tractor to SD. The weight is 8520
lbs gross with a wheel base
of 97.7
inches. We need someone who can transport the tractor
from the Headquarters building at 805 So. Township Blvd. in
Pittston, PA 18640
to the Promise UVBH in Promise,
SD at zip 57601 for free or for
fuel cost.

New Diseases Associated with Agent Orange
Effective October 13, 2009 Secretary Shinseki
decided to establish service-connection for in country Vietnam
Veterans with
B Cell Leukemias,
such as hairy cell leukemia Parkinson’s disease Ischemic
heart disease
This is based on an
independent study by the Institute of Medicine showing an
association with exposure to Agent Orange. Vietnam Veterans with
these diseases may be eligible for disability
compensation
