VVnW NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

ELIGIBILITY:

Any member of the VVnW in good standing for at least one year, their spouse or their linear descendants to include adopted children, stepchildren, foster children and their immediate descendants may submit an application.

Applicant must be in or have been accepted to a program of any post-secondary education.

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE:

Payment can be used for anything applicable to getting educated.           Payment will be made directly to the recipient.

APPLICATION:

Application must be received by October 31 of each year with the award(s) to be announced in November of each year.

METHOD OF DETERMINING THE INDIVIDUAL(S) FOR EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE:

There will be random drawing once a year as long as funding is available.

OTHER:

This is NOT a need, merit, course of study, or any other type-based assistance.

ASSISTANCE AMOUNT(S):

A minimum of $1,000 per recipient(s) will be awarded.  Assistance amount and number of recipients to be determined annually by the Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc. National Board of Directors based on available funding and number of applicants.
